AquaRisk-Analyse®: inspect, assess, document.

Documented visual assessment of accessible plumbing and heating installations within the agreed scope.

The agreed visual scope matters.

In bathrooms, kitchens and guest toilets, the scope may include accessible taps, connections, flexible hoses, cistern feeds, joints, drinking-water and drainage components. Heating areas may include visible manifolds, radiator connections, pipes and pressure-maintenance components. Missing or inaccessible items are recorded separately and are not rated as free of defects.

Agree the scope

Agree the property, areas, access, price and appointment in advance.

Record on site

Document visible points and corresponding photographs.

Review quality

Check completeness and clarity internally before release.

Deliver the report

Explain the dated findings, classification and next steps.

Why AquaRisk rather than simply calling a plumber?

Your plumber can also inspect and repair. AquaRisk complements that expertise with a consistent recording method, traceable risk classification and an ongoing building history. The assessment is not a repair quotation.

Consistent assessment

Defined areas, photographs linked to inspection points, findings, risk classifications and recommendations form the agreed report.

Freedom to choose

You decide on the commission, timing and contractor: your usual plumber, an AquaRisk partner or another trade business. No repair contract arises automatically. Urgent hazards still require prompt action.

A continuous record

Documentation remains linked to the building. Work records and follow-up inspections extend its history even when contractors change.

How the Risk Engine fits into the AquaRisk methodology.

Standardised recording → assessment of the visible finding → risk classification → recommendation → documented follow-up. The Risk Engine supports structured assessment. It does not replace professional judgement or further investigation. No calculated probability of damage or comprehensive proof of safety is promised.

What a visual inspection can establish, and its limits.

Only agreed, accessible and visible areas are inspected. No opening, dismantling or intervention; safety valves are not operated and pressure or settings are not changed. This is not comprehensive maintenance, specialist design, assessment of concealed components, confirmation of SIA compliance or a guarantee against future damage.

The decision is documented too.

A finding does not disappear when no action is taken. The report can distinguish the recommendation, urgency, customer decision and next step.

  • Work commissioned
  • Third-party work planned
  • No action requested at present
  • Follow-up inspection agreed

The assessment does not replace necessary action. If recommendations are not implemented, are delayed or are implemented differently, the identified risk remains. A recorded decision does not approve a defective condition. The client is responsible for commissioning work; contractors are responsible for their own execution. Any liability depends on the contract, causation and mandatory law. HydroSentinel’s responsibility for its own breaches and mandatory liability, particularly for intent or gross negligence, remain unaffected.

The documentation stays with the building.

Like a service logbook: the initial assessment, findings, photographs, decisions, work and follow-up inspections are brought together for the property. An invoice records reported work; a new visual inspection is needed to describe the current visible condition.

Recorded condition

Date, scope, finding, classification and photographs.

Decision

Work commissioned, third party planned or no action at present.

Work record

A dated addition with a service or repair document.

Follow-up

New findings, outstanding items and the next recommended assessment.

Intervals depend on the property and findings. Follow-up assessments are separate commissions, not an automatic subscription. The history covers commissioned assessments and supplied documents, not continuous monitoring. Immutable storage or cryptographic protection is not promised.
